The river is the whole argument
A northside customer who books a workshop slot is looking at two crossings on the day the car goes in and, if it stays overnight, two more when it comes out. That is before anything is actually wrong with the car.
A mobile visit removes the trip entirely. The van comes to a driveway in Chermside or a workplace car park in Nundah, the work happens while you get on with the day, and nobody sits in Gympie Arterial traffic.
We are straight about the trade-off. The northside is a run rather than a neighbourhood for us, so call-outs are scheduled in blocks. Booking a few days ahead gets you a slot that suits; booking at 8am for the same morning usually does not.

What travels well up here
Full services and logbook servicing, with the book stamped the same way it would be at the workshop. Oil and filter changes. Battery testing and replacement, which is the most common northside call-out by a distance.
Brake pads and rotors, alternator and starter testing, and engine diagnostics with a scan tool. Pre-purchase inspections at a seller's address, which are worth more here than anywhere because they save you driving an unknown car across the city.
What does not travel is anything needing a hoist, an alignment rack or a rotor lathe. On the northside that means a Moorooka booking, and we tell you before the van leaves rather than after.

Yes, on scheduled runs. Chermside, Aspley, Stafford, Nundah, Albany Creek, Everton Park and the surrounding suburbs are all covered. Ring to confirm your address before you plan around it.
Is there a call-out fee for crossing the river?
Ring 0402 723 464 with your suburb and we will give you the number up front. We do not spring travel charges on people at the car.
How much notice do you need?
A few days for the northside run. Same-day is usually a workshop booking rather than a mobile one.
What if the car needs to come to Moorooka?
We tell you at the car and quote the workshop job. You are not paying for a wasted visit either way — what we found still gets written up.
Can you service a work vehicle in a company car park?
Yes, as long as the ground is firm and level and there is room to work around the car. Fleet servicing across a whole site is worth an email so we can schedule it in one visit.
