Car servicing in Moorooka, Brisbane
A full car service at our Moorooka workshop starts at $330. It covers a complete safety check, fresh engine oil and a new filter, a fuel system clean, all fluids topped up, and a written report telling you what your car needs now and what can wait. Most take a few hours. If you only need oil and a filter, that starts at $149.
What you get
What is in a full service
Full vehicle safety check
Brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, lights, belts, hoses and leaks. The car goes on the hoist and gets looked at properly, not glanced at.
Fresh engine oil and filter
Correct grade for your engine, not whatever is in the drum.
Fuel system clean
Helps with rough idle and the slow drop in economy that most people stop noticing because it happens gradually.
All fluids topped up
Coolant, brake fluid, power steering, washer.
Written report
What we did, what we found, and what is worth watching. In language you can read.
Plain English reporting
Why the report matters more than it sounds
Most people have had the experience of collecting a car and being told "she's all good" with no idea what was actually looked at. Then six weeks later something fails that was obviously on its way out.
Our report lists condition, not just tasks. If your front pads are at 4mm, you get told they are at 4mm and roughly how long that gives you. If a hose is starting to go soft, it goes on the report as something to watch rather than something to replace today.
You can take that report anywhere for a second opinion. We would rather you could.
Service frequency
How often should you service in Brisbane
Most manufacturers say twelve months or between 10,000km and 15,000km, whichever comes first. Check your logbook, because the interval varies by make.
Brisbane driving pushes that shorter for a lot of people. Short trips where the engine never fully warms, long periods idling in traffic on Ipswich Road, and summer heat all work oil harder than open highway kilometres do. If most of your driving is under 15 minutes at a time, servicing closer to the shorter end of the range is money well spent.
All makes
European, diesel, 4WD and everything else
We service everything. European, diesel, 4WD, fleet, commercial vehicles, hybrids and electric cars. Six technicians and the diagnostic equipment to go with them.
If your car is still under new car warranty, you want logbook servicing rather than a general service.
About logbook servicingPricing
What it costs
From $330 for a full service. From $149 for oil and filter only. The variation comes down to oil capacity, oil grade and filter type. A small petrol hatch and a diesel ute genuinely are different jobs. You get the exact figure when you book.
If the inspection turns up something that needs repairing, you get a separate quote and you decide. Nothing gets done without your approval.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I service my car?
Usually every twelve months or 10,000km to 15,000km depending on the make. Short-trip city driving and Brisbane heat both argue for the shorter end.
What is the difference between a service and a logbook service?
A logbook service follows the manufacturer's specified schedule for your exact model and gets the book stamped, which matters while the car is under new car warranty. A general service covers the same fundamentals without being tied to that schedule.
Will servicing here void my warranty?
No. Any qualified workshop can carry out logbook servicing under Australian law, provided the schedule is followed and the correct parts are used.
How long does a service take?
A few hours for most cars. Tell us if you need it back the same day.
Do I need to book?
Yes for servicing. It means the car goes straight on a hoist rather than sitting in a queue.
What if you find something wrong?
You get a call with the problem, the fix and the price. Work only starts once you have agreed.
Do you service European cars?
Yes, along with diesel, 4WD, fleet, commercial, hybrid and electric vehicles.
What oil do you use?
Whatever your engine is specified to run, including manufacturer-approved grades for European engines.
Do you offer a warranty on parts?
Yes. Every part we fit carries the supplier or manufacturer warranty that comes with it.
