Everything in one workshop

Car servicing, repairs and smash repairs in Brisbane

Everything below happens at 2 Baldock St, Moorooka. Mechanical work on one side of the building, smash and panel work on the other, with an oil and filter change from $149 and a full premium service from $330. Anything outside those two jobs gets quoted before we start, and nothing gets done until you approve it.

Two workshops, one address

The two sides of the business

Motor work

Servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections. Logbook servicing that keeps a new car warranty intact, brake and suspension work, transmissions, auto electrical, air conditioning and safety certificates. If it keeps a car on the road, it happens on this side of the workshop.

Smash repair

Accident damage, panel beating, body repairs, windscreens and collision damage assessment. We work with all major Australian insurers and deal with the assessor directly, so you are not chasing paperwork between phone calls.

Having both sides in the same building matters more often than people expect. A car that has been hit rarely has only panel damage.

All makes and models

Cars we work on

All makes and models. European, diesel, 4WD, fleet, commercial, hybrid and fully electric. We have not built the business around one badge, and we have not built it around one era either, so a 2004 Hilux and a current model EV both get looked at properly.

Plenty of southside workshops still send EVs away. We do not.

Honest pricing

What it costs

Oil and filter change, from $149. Full premium car service, from $330, which covers a complete safety check, fresh oil and filter, a fuel system clean, all fluids topped up and a written report in plain English.

Everything else is quoted per job. A brake job on a Yaris and a brake job on a Ranger are different amounts of work, different parts and different prices, so a single figure on a website would be dishonest.

The process

How a job runs here

You tell us what the car is doing. We look at it, work out what is actually wrong, and give you a price with an explanation you can follow. Then you decide.

If we open something up and find more, we stop and call you. No approval, no work, even if that means the car sits on the hoist until we reach you. Every service ends with a written report you can take to anyone for a second opinion.

Parts we fit carry the supplier or manufacturer warranty that comes with them.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you work on my car?

Almost certainly. All makes and models, including European, diesel, 4WD, fleet, commercial, hybrid and electric vehicles.

Can you do mechanical and panel work at the same time?

Yes, and that is the main reason people stay with us. Both sides are in the same building and the two teams talk to each other, so a car that needs a service and a repaired quarter panel does not need two bookings at two businesses.

How much is a service?

An oil and filter change starts at $149. A full service starts at $330. What sits above that depends on the car, its age and what the inspection finds. You get the exact figure before we start.

Do I need to book?

For servicing, inspections and anything scheduled, yes. If something has gone wrong and you are stuck, call 0402 723 464 and we will tell you honestly whether we can look at it today.

Will servicing here void my new car warranty?

No. Any qualified workshop can carry out logbook servicing without affecting your manufacturer warranty, as long as the correct schedule is followed and the right parts are used. We stamp the book the same way a dealership does.

Do you diagnose warning lights?

Yes. A light on the dash is a symptom, not a diagnosis, so we read the codes and then test the actual system before quoting anything.

Can you come to me instead?

For a lot of jobs, yes. Servicing, brakes, batteries and inspections travel well. Anything needing a hoist or a spray booth does not, and we will say so rather than waste your morning.

What if the repair turns out to be expensive?

Then we tell you that clearly and explain what happens if you leave it. Some jobs can wait six months. Some cannot, and on an older car the honest answer is sometimes that the repair costs more than the car is worth.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm. Closed Sunday. There is an after-hours key drop if none of that works.

How do I pay?

All major cards, cash on collection.
